About The Event

Adewale Students’ Conference is an initiative aimed at redefining the face of education and academic excellence starting from the roots to the world.

This is a call to join a cause that would transform our society one step at a time – one child at a time.

I believe that empowering the next generation by redefining education beyond school walls is a good place to start.

Why Sagamu?

Considering that a large part of my childhood was spent in Sagamu, this maiden project focuses on grooming young adults – secondary school children in Sagamu. It is a gentle reminder that any child who dares to dream can work hard, persevere and believe that it will work out.

A Little More

The literacy rate according to research shows that only  62.9% of the population in Ogun state are receiving formal education which means there is more work to be done.

With the world evolving, it is essential that the future generation is at par with the level of literacy and learning needed to be a rounded adult. No doubt, the government may be tirelessly doing its best, but I believe you and I have our roles to play to equip the coming generation.

For so many reasons, children constantly give up on their dreams and lose the lustre to keep striving. I strongly believe encouragement, enlightenment and exposure will go a long way to change the narrative.
